Life with a baby, a toddler, and 3 homeschooling older children? Not easy, even with the awesome live in help! So our 2 week post is (a bit) belated.
Babies grow too fast! Evan was up to almost 9 lbs at his 2 week check in, which is a 17% increase over 8 lbs. He still sleeps an awful lot, but he definitely has periods where he looks and looks and looks around.
Evan is, in the words of a small friend of ours, adorable and precious. (This friend is a keeper!) He has very dark hair, and a fair amount of it - like Bentley and Viva as babies. We'll see if he keeps the dark hair or goes light like Viva and Lincoln!
Evan is good natured most of the time. He can get a little cranky if he needs to burp, and he's starting to learn that if you cry loudER you get attention quickER! But other than that? He sleeps, he eats, he stares around quizzically... sometimes he makes funny baby grunting noises, and then he sleeps and starts the cycle all over!
We love you, little man! You're a perfect addition to our family.
