Choog-a-Choog

Bentley has really become a train fan. He has his own term for trains: chug-a-chug choog-a-choog. When he comes to visit he will usually ask for his battery powered Brio and Thomas engines (two of them as shown here). He asked to take them to bed with him last night and we usually throw them in the Church bag to keep him occupied.

Lately when he comes to visit, he wants to look at choog-a-choogs on the computer! What he means is that he wants to visit the railpictures.net website and view photos and videos taken by railfans. Yesterday I hooked the macbook up to 42" plasma screen and showed him BIG screen photos and videos from the web. He thoroughly enjoyed it and was content to skip other activities just to direct me to find more pictures and videos to enjoy.

He also has picked up the word "by" -- as in the train goes by. When he watches the train videos he frequently says "by" as the trains are going by. Then he'll say "go" meaning get another picture or video on the screen Opa.

Maybe we'll plan a trip to the train depot and get some up close visits with the big trains.
