Don't Be Fooled

If you didn't know the twins well and you saw the following two photos, you might make the mistake of thinking that Viva is the twin with bad attitude and Jake is the sweetie.



This is so NOT true. Viva is the nice twin. She puts up with a lot of grief from her brothers. She seldom hands any out. She is a very sweet girl (most of the time). She likes to help me put the dishes in the dishwasher away. She brings her brothers their favorite blankies when they cry. She brings her mother diapers when she's asked. She likes to please people.


Jake is the problem twin. He likes his own way and when he doesn't get it, he lets you now about it--loudly. His shriek is world class. He and Bentley have daily fights over the cars. Bentley has two current favorite cars--a silver one and a blue one. Because they are Bentley's favorite, Jake also likes them. Bentley hides them when he's not playing with them, but Jake usually finds them. This evening Bentley attacked Jake because he was holding the favorites. Jake bit Bentley on the ear. In the end each boy had one car and it was hard to decide who to discipline first. Bentley attacked Jake. Not good! Jake bit Bentley. Not good!! Bentley was quite upset--so was Jake who kept trying to get that second car back from his brother.

Jake is the one who you have to watch out for. Just ask Bentley.
