Viva: Craft Leader

The children are old enough to do craft kits on their own. They can read well so they can follow the instructions without help from Kara or me. (At least on simpler craft kits.) Viva likes to do crafts and she doesn't like to have help from adults, so she's the one who forages in the craft closet most often.

Last week she discovered the pom pom animal book and started making pom pom animals. She gifted two of them to Jake. Bentley saw her gifts and decided to make some of his own. He tried to get me to help him, but I told him that Viva was able to do it all on her own and I was sure he could, too. He did. 

As Bentley was finishing up Jake came along and gave it a try, too. Viva helped him. We are finally going to be able to clear out that shelf with craft kits on it! YES!
