Cousin Lyssa came to town to visit her grandmother and Lyssa's mom (Aunt Jean) decided to tag along! They have been at our home since Monday. They leave this afternoon. Because they were in town, Aunt Karla and Cousin Koltan came to see them on Tuesday, so we have photos of them, too! The children love to have visitors. They gave both Jean and Lyssa a states capitol quiz--they let them study first. (Aunt Jean was thusly tortured on her last trip, too.) Lyssa played a few games with them, board games and hide and seek.
The five children and I joined them on a trip to the Bass Pro Alaskan Outpost yesterday. Although the store has been here almost a year, we had not yet visited it! It is very like the Cabela's store that opened just three months before the Bass Pro. They are both fun stores to visit. (Did you know you can take your dog on walks in the Bass Pro store?!)
The last photo was taken while the children were watching the fish being fed. The fish tank is huge with a one story waterfall feeding into it. Very nice! The Cabela's store doesn't have a spectacular waterfall.
