Blocks & Other Toys
Blocks have been a big hit this past month or longer. Lincoln loves to build with them and to thrown them. We are trying hard to discourage the latter. When Lincoln hauls the blocks out, his siblings soon join him to build their own structures. I don't have pictures of Lincoln building with the blocks, but he's really quite skilled for a toddler.
Creating disorder is a big part of Lincoln's play routine. He likes to distribute balls, pegs, books, animal cards, puzzle pieces, etc. over a wide area.
Trying to stay safe from Lincoln is a big part of Evan's play routine.
Bentley decided to piece two dinosaur puzzles. I helped him with the 300 piece puzzle because it's more fun to work on larger piece count puzzles with a buddy.
Lincoln always wants to join us when we play games. After Viva, Jake, and I played Toy Story Yahtzee, I let Lincoln practice tossing the dice. He was pretty excited about gaining that privilege.
Lincoln on Rody. (As usual there are more photos of Lincoln than of the other children. He's the most active!)
Does a pacifier count as a toy?!
