Mexico = Ceramic Souvenirs

The children have gone to Mexico five times--well, the older three have; the younger two have only gone once. On the first trip to Mexico the twins were not even a year and a half old, so they did not bring home a ceramic figurine for a souvenir. Bentley and his dad painted a figurine together. On subsequent trips Bentley, Jake, and Viva painted a figurine each. (One year they painted two). The standard procedure is for the client to throw paint on the figurine--any color, anywhere they like. Black detail lines are then added by a ceramic artist before firing. (Viva told me she didn't want those black lines on hers, but I'm not the one she needed to tell, so the lines are on it.)
