Mexico!
Matt, Kara, Bentley, Jake, Viva, Lincoln and Evan are in Mexico with Grandpa Tim and Grandma Karen for ten days. I say ten days, but the first day was spent traveling to Mexico. Kara booked a night flight hoping the little ones would sleep, but given that they had to change planes in Seattle and Los Angeles, it wasn't really possible for anyone to get a lot of sleep.
Here are Viva and Lincoln at Anchorage Airport waiting to board their 1:30AM flight. Kara said that Viva helped Lincoln on all the flights and she was sweet to the older lady who sat next to her on one of the flight. Viva is almost always good with Lincoln, but she isn't always nice to strangers.
Kara claims Evan only slept five hours during their night/day of travel. This must have been taken during one of his short naps.
The older children have been to Mexico three times already, but this is Lincoln and Evan's first trip. Here they are racing off to check out all the water fun that their older siblings have been going on about for months.
Just a sampling of the fun to be had:
I'll share a few more photos from Mexico tomorrow.
