Great-grandma and Her Buddies

I've posted on this before, but it happens nearly every workday morning, so I'm posting about it again. They are so cute (all three of them)!

Great-grandma comes upstairs around 11AM most mornings. She calls for help getting the gate open. (She can open the gate if no one is around, but it's not easy.) This is Evan's cue to race over and help her out. He likes to take her leg brace off--yank the Velcro straps open. After taking her brace off, great-grandma is ready to move around with her walker. She heads over to the cupboard for breakfast and Evan climbs on to her walker for a ride. The past month or so Lincoln has been joining him.

At some point she has to convince the boys to get off so she can put her breakfast on the seat and transfer it to the table. They usually race over to the table to get in position to help her eat her breakfast. Whether or not they've eaten breakfast already with their older siblings, they usually take food off great-grandma's plate and gobble it down.

It's a good life for a great-grandma! She looks pretty happy, right?

Addendum:

This photo was taken at dinner last night. Evan was sitting on her lap eating off her plate and shoving food in her mouth. I forgot to mention that he is a food pusher. He loves to share food with others. He is quite sweet, but in a rather forceful manner at times.
