And there was bloodwork - for all!!

I told Matt he can't say we never get out to do anything exciting, why just this morning we took all 3 children to the hospital lab to get blood drawn. How many people have that much fun?!

The twins are supposed to be taking a vitamin supplement for extra iron, because they were borderline anemic when we left the hospital. The vitamin drops are foul smelling and vile looking things, which stain clothing if they are spit up. I don't like them and neither do the babies. The Dr. said we could quit with the vitamins if their iron levels look good, so I jumped on the opportunity to check those levels! Bentley was lucky enough to join us because we never did get around to having his iron levels checked at his 1 yr appointment.

It went surprisingly smoothly. Jackson screamed for 1 minute, Genevieve gave 1 half hearted cry, and Bentley was fascinated by seeing blood drip out of his finger. There was only screaming from him when the phlebotomist wanted to put a band-aid on his finger for him. I'm grateful we have such good natured kids!
