Thanksgiving Day Glutton

Highlight: Genevieve quite enjoyed our 2 Thanksgiving day feasts. This just might be her favorite holiday of the year. Here she is showing off her belly at the end of the day (it was very very full!):

In the afternoon we headed over to my Aunt's home for a turkey meal with my Mom's side of the family. Genevieve and Jackson enjoyed just about everything - jello salad, stuffing, rolls, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes & gravy, turkey, cranberry relish, pumpkin pie and cool whip... I'm sure I'm forgetting something even with that list. Bentley? He enjoyed the rolls (4 of them, at least!) but wouldn't try anything else. Maybe next year...

After polishing off some pie Matt and I rounded up the troops and headed up to his Dad's home for some more family fun and delicious food. Jackson had the sense to just nibble on some chips, but Genevieve headed straight for the high chair and eagerly consumed another full meal. This time around she added some ham in with the turkey for additional protein.

We made it home and my steadfast eater managed to polish off a bottle to go with all the food. She slept well!

We are grateful for our many many blessings at this time of year (and always) and enjoyed the day. It's a good thing it's only once a year though, I don't think Genevieve's stomach could (should?) handle that amount of food too often!

Isn't it truly amazing what those little tummies actually can put away!
