After weeks of so-so weather we finally got another couple of days of SUN SUN SUN! It was fun, fun, fun. I pulled out the new swim suits their mom had purchased for them from Lands End and the new larger pool I had purchased a few weeks ago.
The twins tried out the water guns they got at their birthday party last month. They were fun and easy to use. Lincoln spent a lot of time putting a small boat into the watering can and then taking it out. It was a beautiful afternoon.
Grandma Vicki got a slight sunburn on her shoulder from spending too much time outdoors that day. In the morning she weeded our driveway--a never ending chore that I hadn't gotten to yet this summer. The children helped her a little. In the afternoon she was outside watching the children in the pool. In the evening we went over to the library lawn to hear a teen band.
