Jake is really good about helping great-grandma every day by collecting her newspaper from the end of our long driveway. He offers to get her newspaper most days even though the past month it has been very, very cold out. We usually recruit Viva to go with him. She's not always as eager as he is to do this chore, but she's a good sport and goes with him. Lincoln does not usually get to go with them. It's too much of a hassle to get him outfitted and he doesn't always listen to the twins. If they ran into a moose, it would not be good to have him along.
Last weekend Mark and I were cleaning the house before the Daisy event. First I vacuumed the main floor and Lincoln was there with the extra vacuum tool trying to help me out. Then we washed a few windows and Lincoln grabbed some paper towel and started working with us. He is a very helpful toddler.
