It's that time of year when we take on the immense challenge of getting a Christmas photo of the children. We've learned that it's best to do some warm-up shots. On Sunday we set up the lights and backdrop downstairs and nabbed the older three to take a few photos. Viva wasn't pleased at first, but she cooperated. Jake started out okay, but then became snarly wishing I'd go to (into?) the Atlantic Ocean. Bentley was a good sport throughout.
Sometimes I cheer myself up by thinking in a year and half Jake and Viva will be as mature and easy to work with as Bentley now is--but it's not true. It's not their age that's causing problems (Bentley was easy to work with at their current age), it's their personalities. They will only get worse when they hit their teenage years. *sigh*
