We had our first official snow fall on Sunday. It wasn't a massive snow fall like what occurred on the East Coast, but it was enough to cover the ground and make the children excited. Opa went out and used our new John Deere riding mower with snow blower attachment (which I shall hereafter simply call the snow blower). The children were more than a little disappointed with Opa's dedication. They were quite willing to shovel all the snow themselves.
They stayed outside for more than an hour shoveling and playing and just enjoying the first snow of the season. When their father arrived home from helping with the tithing count, he was enthusiastically invited to join them. He did and they all had a snowball fight.
