Astounding! It's been eight weeks and the baby has stayed in utero. He's a very smart baby. One of the specialist Kara sees told her recently that when she first consulted on Kara's case in the hospital, she thought for sure Kara would deliver that week. I'm not sure how Kara and the baby avoided that fate, but they did.
The twins were born during their 34th week, so we aren't terribly worried any more. Kara would like the baby to hang on for another two weeks. I think she's a little afraid now that he'll go a full 40 weeks! Kara is still on bed rest, but she started being a little active this week. Also, she's stopped medication to halt labor.
