Yep, you read that right. The dear child had never (until recently) had scissors touch her hair. Not even for a trim. Every time I take the boys in for a haircut I ask the stylist if I should trim her hair up. And they always look at it and say "No... !! It looks so pretty."
But I've been thinking a little trim wouldn't hurt. And a straight line isn't hard to cut, so I took it on myself. And it doesn't look noticeably different (she likes her long hair, so for now we'll stick with long hair!) - but I know it was trimmed.
So this isn't an exciting post, but is eventful (from my perspective!). Her first hair cut!
