Precocious Lincoln
From birth Lincoln has been unusually strong. At the hospital more than one doctor commented on his ability to hold his head up. He can already sit up and he's very close to crawling which is highly unusual for a five month old.
Lincoln can scoot backwards quite far and quite fast. We put him in the middle of the family room and in no time he's stuck between the couches or trapped by his jumper or swing. He not only moves backwards, but he rolls over and over and he can spin himself around in a circle. Put him on the floor facing east and soon he’ll be facing west. The problem is that I think he's as surprised as we are where he ends up.
Impressive as the first three grandchildren were in accomplishing the first year milestones, Lincoln is way ahead of them.
