After our wind and chinook windows and melting snow... we finally got back to the regular Alaska winter programming! Snow, snow and more snow! Unfortunately it's not the most perfect snow for snowmen. And it's a bit cold out for my taste.
Luckily... Matt had the last week off, and he is hardier than I am. Must be all the time in Barrow this past year. And, nicely enough, although the snow isn't so great for snowmen the layers of slush and ice at the bottom of all the new stuff seem to have made perfect conditions for snow tunnels!
Matt and the boys worked hard:
Notice there is no photo of Viva. Apparently her tastes run towards the indoors, like mine? Although she does head out with the boys every once in a while!
And to end the post, here is Opa's new "most liked" picture from Instagram! Isn't it lovely?
It's almost as lovely as the grandkid pictures he takes! :) (I suppose I might be biased towards the kids....)
