Snow Scene

We have had snow, snow, snow...and yet more snow. Our winter 2011-2012 total snowfall has been 81" which is 40" more than usual this time of year. This might sound like a lot of snow, but it's nothing compared to what's happening in Valdez. They have had 67" of snow since the beginning of the year--in the past 9 days! Their winter 2011-2012 season to date snowfall is 290". Awesome!

Back to us...the children have not been out very much to enjoy all the wonderful white stuff. I was hoping to get them out today, but we got distracted with other activities. The boys spent a few hours with their Legos. In the afternoon the children got a small package from Grandma Vicki that contained some winter fun sticker sheets. All three grabbed their sheets and went to work.

Viva used every sticker on the sheet. She arranged the snowflakes in a V. (She told me so. I'm not just interpreting her work.) After laboring hard to finish her sheet, she gave it to me!

The boys did a great job with their sticker art, too, but today I'm highlighting Viva's work.
