Bentley and Jake both received new board games for Christmas, and our table has been spending some serious time as game central since December 24th! 7 Wonders is a deck building/resource using strategy game that bills itself as a 30 minute play - once you understand the huge directions book! Bentley, Jake, Grandma, Matt,and myself are getting closer to a 30 minute game! (We haven't yet inspired Genevieve to sit still long enough to learn all the rules, but we will!)
The verdict? Fun game once you know the rules, and a big hit with the boys and adults around here.

We also have seven wonders and like it, although I get frustrated at having pass awesome cards to the other players. We acquired several games for Christmas ourselves. Liza got "The Princess and the Tower" and Daniel got "Orchard". Jack spent a lot of time researching both. We also received "Animal upon Animal" from the aunties.
