The Xylophone

We've had a xylophone in the house for years. The older three children have played with it on and off, but they have never seemed fascinated by it. Last week someone dug the xylophone out of the storage bin. Lincoln grabbed it and would not let go. He took it over to great-grandma and handed her a mallet and kept one for himself. He made it clear she was to play with him. When she tried to stop after five minutes, he handed her the mallet again. He was very insistent. Over the next few days whenever he'd see the xylophone, he'd demand we give it to him and then he'd insist that we play with him.
