Cousin Sarah

Kara's cousin Sarah who lives in Juneau was visiting the extended family in Anchorage this past week. She spent some time with Bentley, Viva, and Jake because...well, for lots of good reasons. They are super fun kids. She was hanging with me and I always hang with them. She's going to go to Mexico with them in November and so she needed some bonding time with them.

How did it go? Did the trio convince her that she made the right decision in saying yes to a trip to Mexico with them? Maybe. Maybe not. *grin* They had some good times with her. They kept her hopping. They also showed her just how loud two cranky boy children could be. In a public store. Okay, three public stores. But that was just a minor part of her experiences with them. Most of the time they were happy and fun loving. They usually are.

Bentley bonded with Sarah. He wore her out making her chase him up and down the hallway. He was impressed with her great b-ball skills, as I'm sure she was with his. Viva was her good buddy. And then there's Jake. Jake is going through a difficult stage and he wasn't able at this time to extend his trust beyond his current tight little circle. I'm sure in November he'll reach out to her. He's a fun little guy when he's feeling secure. He's got the best little chuckle. (Viva's is mighty fine, too. Baby laughter is totally divine.)
