What's the Big Deal?

Jackson is a male who knows what he wants and what he doesn't want. He doesn't waste time on things that aren't important to him. Walking--it's just not that big a deal. All babies learn to walk. Why rush it? It's more energy efficient to have adults haul you around than to walk on your own two feet. The extra cuddle time is great, too.

Teeth--who needs them when mom owns a super duper immersion blender? She blends all the chunky food, so no teeth are needed to chew. Eventually, I'm sure, Jackson will get a full set. Just this past week his first two upper teeth emerged. They are sharp, but very short--not useful yet.

Genevieve can waste her time impressing the adults with her walking and her teeth. Jackson has better things to do.

Like play with favorite toys. His current favorite is a little wooden pull toy. (He loves toys with attached strings.)

PS Here's the latest victim of Genevieve's impressive teeth. She's now chewing up hard plastic balls!
