Jake and Matt in Vegas: So Far, So Good!

 They made it onto the plane!  First class upgrade on the second leg (due to all of Matt's many many flights and miles... !), so breakfast included!  Do you still remember when everyone got food on planes?  The good old days!

Once off the plane my industrious husband headed off to church with Jake.  He had church clothes packed in their carry on so they could go check out sacrament meeting and the temple in Vegas!

Jake thought the flowers were very very lovely at the temple.  Isn't that a gorgeous smile for a kid who didn't get hardly any sleep (and a kid who NEEDS his sleep?!):

 

The rest of my details about the day are hazy.  I had a phone call from Jake letting me know he saw the Statue of Liberty and a castle!  They had a fun filled day and ended it with food!  Jake made the salads for dinner:

After dinner they baked cookies and called us on FaceTime.  Six days to go!  Jake said he likes Daddy, so I'd say it should be rated a 5 star day.  :)  Hopefully the rest of the week is just as fun!
