Baby Evan

He's here!  And he made it before his "scheduled" arrival day of October 4th, choosing instead to make October 1st his birthday (8:23 pm and passed his Apgar with flying colors, an 8 and a 9, in case you were wondering!).  I approve of baby's birth day choice of the 1st.  New month, new baby.  It's an awesome way to start our month!

Evan Pierce Altman.  He gets his name from his great-great-great-grandpa on Great-Grandma Hill's side of the family.  Evan weighed just under 8 lbs, coming in at 7 lbs 15 ounces.  That's 1 ounce more than his brother Lincoln.  :)  I'll have to give him a week or two to out grow the newborn baby look and then I can decide who he looks most like - he has a lot more hair, and it's a lot darker, than his older brother Lincoln did as a newborn!

Here are his "official" first pics from his photographer, Opa.  He's about 16 hours old in these ones, and already glowingly photogenic!  In my nonbiased opinion.

He's a keeper!  And, in case you were wondering, his personality matches his angelic photos.  Although he gets a little riled at diaper changes (who likes the cold, right?!), there isn't much else that riles him.  He's great at sleeping and great at cuddling.  We are so happy to (finally) have him here.  What a perfect addition to our family.  We are blessed!
