Read, Read, Read

I'm not sure who of our young readers is the most serious about reading. Lincoln is quite demanding and corners us all regularly with his demand to READ! He will not be put off.

Bentley reads a lot, too, as does Viva. 

Viva will read three or four or even more books at the same time. "At the same time" means she starts one and before finishing it she will start another book and before finishing either of those books she will start a third book. It does not mean she actually reads more than one book simultaneously. That honor belongs to Lincoln.

Jake has been going through a reading drought. He insists on finishing the Droon series, but he complains there are too many words on a page, so he doesn't like to read them. We are baffled because he read 24 books in the Droon series before this problem started. We've tried to convince him to quit the series and finish it at a later date, but he won't listen to us. *sigh* It's very puzzling. He was a great reader and loved to read and now he tells us that he doesn’t like reading. We are working with him to help him regain his love of reading.
