The Consequences of Mobility

It's all very fine and dandy to be excited (and encourage) babies to crawl, but it's sometimes easy to forget that with that freedom comes the ability to make choices.  The world is so big and must be explored, says Evan!

He really really likes the cat.  And I give our cat big kudos for being very kind to a baby who has a very good pinch down pat.  And likes to grab big pieces of kitty scruff.  Ouch!  I discourage it, but Evan is sneaky.  He has to be as the cat is still faster than he is.  I think the cat even seeks out his attention.  The theory probably being that any attention is good attention?  That cat needs a therapist!

Another BIG favorite?  The cupboards, of course!  He has discovered that these forbidden fruits contain many exciting containers to bang on, knock over, chew on... and more!  Evan is always quite excited to find a cupboard door left open.  Which, for some reason, happens ALL the time.  You wouldn't think it would be that hard to keep all the cupboard doors closed but that skill seems to elude me.  :)
