Read!
Our young readers continue to keep their noses in books. Kara assigns them 30 minutes a day of reading, but usually they do more. The latest juvenile series to catch their attention is The Berenstain Bears Big Chapter books and The Bailey School Kids. They keep us busy going to the library and tracking down new books for them to read.

I love how the kids all devour books, even little Lincoln. I was wondering if you could point me in the direction of a good reading/phonics curriculum to start Liza on. She's turning four in a couple of weeks and is showing signs of readiness/ interest. She has repeatedly told me that she wants to read. anyways, since you have been down that road I was wondering if you could give some suggestions. Thanks!!
