It's taken Viva a few months to complete the project, but that's not too bad for a first sewing project. When she was finished with her cat, she didn't like how floppy his tail was so I had to give her a pipe cleaner to stiffen it.

Viva's Cat
Last Christmas the gift Viva most wanted to receive was a sewing kit with needles, pins, and thread. She likes to sew on the sewing machine, but she was fascinated (who knows why!) with hand sewing. Great-grandma gave her a sewing kit and she started in right away with a sewing project included in the kit.
She did a great job, didn't she?
