Baby Wipes--Not Just for Baby Butts!

Kara and I sometimes use baby wipes to clean baby noses. Wipes are damp and softer than kleenex, so they work quite well. Unfortunately, they are also kind of fun to pull out of the box. Lately it's been a battle to keep the kidlets away from the wipes. They use them in nonapproved ways.

When Bentley had free reign with the wipes, he deposited twenty of them into the toilet. His mother claims that he used them to wipe his nose first. That's one drippy nose. Obviously she doesn't really know that since if she'd seen him emptying the wipe container into the toilet, she would have put a stop to it. (I would have taken a photo first and then put a stop to it, but that's just me.)

When Jackson found an unguarded box of wipes here is what he did with it:

Where was Genevieve during all this fun? She was eating the spare diaper, but it just wasn't as palatable as the wipes, so she set it aside.

We've got a gallon-sized Ziploc that seems to be permanantly filled with wipes that have been "reallocated" from their appropriate containers.

Look at that first pic of Jackson! He looks like he's saying "ooooohhhh, when you pull one out...another one pops up!".

So Kara, you're toilet didn't stop up after the 20 wipe inncident? My friend is on a septic and her kid put one wipe (ONE WIPE!) in the toilet, flushed it and, well...you can fill in the rest of the story! :)
